Non-Alcoholic Podcasts: 14 Shows on NA Drinks and Sober Life

On October 15, 2026, a podcast called U.S. of N/A put out its last episode. Its title was "Pour One Out For The U.S. of N/A." The show had spent almost 60 episodes interviewing the people who make non-alcoholic beer, spirits and functional drinks, and its team said they were pausing the series while the company behind it was "just re-tooling" [1].

We noticed because that one show pulls in more "non-alcoholic podcasts" searches on SobrietyTalk than anything else in our directory. And it says something about this corner of podcasting. In our directory, the shows about NA drinks come and go fast. The shows about living without alcohol tend to stick around for hundreds of episodes.

So this list covers both. The first half is for people who want to talk about what's in the glass. The second half is for the bigger question underneath it, which is what life looks like when the glass doesn't hold alcohol anymore.

First, what "non-alcoholic" means on a US label

It doesn't always mean zero. Under federal labeling rules, a malt beverage can say "non-alcoholic" only if the label also says it contains less than 0.5 percent alcohol by volume. "Alcohol free" is stricter: that phrase is reserved for malt beverages with no alcohol at all [2].

That gap matters more to some listeners than others. If you're in recovery from alcohol use disorder, whether NA beer belongs in your life is a personal call, and plenty of people make it with a sponsor, counselor or doctor in the room. The shows below sit on both sides of that line, so pick the ones that fit yours.

Shows about NA drinks and zero-proof culture

The Sober Curator is still going strong. Alysse Bryson and Tamar Routly mix celebrity interviews and pop culture with zero-proof cocktail ideas, and they've put out nearly 100 episodes since March 2025. It's light, it's funny, and nobody lectures you.

The Alcohol Debate starts from the boom in alcohol-free drinks and works outward to how booze affects people and society. The host says up front it isn't an anti-alcohol crusade. We liked that. A show that isn't selling a side is easier to trust while you're still working out your own.

Mindful Drinking and Moderation in Midlife with Denise Hamilton-Mace asks the practical questions out loud: what separates low, no and light drinks, and why alcohol-free bottles cost so much. One flag here. The show is built for people who want to drink less on their own terms, so if you've decided moderation isn't for you, start further down this list.

U.S. of N/A is the show from the top of this article. It launched in January 2024 and is now an archive [1], but the founder interviews are still worth a listen if you want to know who's behind the cans you see in the cooler.

Alcohol-Free Radio, hosted by Chris Becker, talks to NA producers, entrepreneurs and authors. Its latest episode (September 2025) features Chris Marshall, founder of Sans Bar, which the show describes as the first sober bar in North America.

Thriving Alcohol-Free with Mocktail Mom was Deb's show about non-alcoholic cocktails and the joy of sober living. In May 2026 she said goodbye to the podcast to focus on her Mocktail Social Club community. The back catalog runs past 130 episodes.

The Alcohol-Free Sommelier is tiny, seven episodes from 2021, but it's the nerdiest show here in the best way. Christine Parkinson covers ingredients, distribution and even how to fix dealcoholised wine.

Shows about living alcohol-free

Sober Awkward is where we'd start. Victoria Vanstone, a former binge drinker turned author, talks about being sober in a world soaked in alcohol, and the show lists a Best Well-Being Podcast win at The Australian Podcast Awards 2024. As of October 2026 it has more community votes than any other alcohol-free show in our directory.

Alcohol Uncensored only started in January 2026 and is already one of the most voted shows on the site. It welcomes you whether you call yourself sober, alcohol-free, in recovery, or nothing at all. Its newest episode walks through the first 30 days alcohol-free.

The Pink Cloud Frequency, hosted by Briana Wynn, is for women who are questioning alcohol or who have already quit. It's another 2026 newcomer, and it already sits in our directory's top dozen by votes.

Alcohol Free Life with Janey Lee Grace comes from a UK host and former BBC presenter. With more than 400 episodes, it's a deep well of tips, guest stories and a lot of talk about self-care.

The Alcohol-Free Advantage with Andy Ramage is slow in a good way. Each episode is an unhurried, in-person conversation about identity, purpose and the habits that help people feel their best without a drink.

Tribe Sober is for people who've quit, people thinking about it, and the plain sober curious. Janet has kept it going for more than 340 episodes.

The Alcohol Free Marriage Podcast fits this list for a funny reason. Matt and Amy Edwards describe themselves as two former craft beer enthusiasts who went from daily drinkers to not drinking at all, and they did it together.

Why the drinks shows matter (and where they stop)

Alcohol isn't a small thing to step away from. The CDC estimates about 178,000 people in the US die from excessive drinking each year [3]. A good NA drink can make a dinner party easier. It won't do the deeper work on its own. That's what the second half of this list is for.

If your drinking worries you, SAMHSA's National Helpline is free, confidential and open 24/7 at 1-800-662-4357 [4]. If you're in crisis, call or text 988.

One last thing. Shows like U.S. of N/A don't always last, and rankings on SobrietyTalk come from listeners. If one of these has kept you company on a hard night, go vote for it while it's still on the air, because that's how the next person finds it.
